Axiomtek is a leading network appliance platform provider, which offers standard and customized solutions for software partners and network product providers. Our all-in-one network appliance platforms give customers the competitive edge they need to stand out in their respective markets.
Software-Defined WAN
The software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) leverages software-defined networking (SDN) technology applied to WAN connections, which are used to connect enterprise networks over a large geographic area. SD-WAN uses cheaper Internet broadband connections and VPN technology to replace expensive legacy WAN technologies such as T-1 or MPLS. SD-WAN also has the advantage of deploying new network services quickly via the cloud and VNF (Virtual network functions).
Software-Defined Networking
The IIoT SDN controller supports state-of-the-art Software Defined Networking (SDN) technology and the OpenFlow protocol. It works as a centralized and reliable network controller platform and operates with SDN-enabled switches to deliver new flow-level automated networking functions that cannot easily be provided by traditional solutions. The IIoT SDN controller allows network administrators to configure the whole network with minimum settings on a central portal, enabling them to manage and monitor the network in an automated, programmable, and responsive approach in real time.
Virtual Private Network
The virtual private network (VPN) is a network using a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to the network of their organization. It is aiming to avoid an expensive system of private or leased lines that can be used by only one organization. The VPN provides the organization with the same secure capabilities at a much lower cost. Axiomtek's network appliance platforms have successfully met the demand of low power, cost-effectiveness and better performance in VPN applications.
Intrusion Detection System
The intrusion detection system (IDS) is a type of security management system for computers and networks. When a system has detected security breaches, threats, and attacks by monitoring the trail of activities on a computer's network, it then will be sending an alert to the security officer. The IDS can be implemented to better protect a company's computer networks from such cyber attacks. Like standard alarm systems set up in the home or office, the IDS can be used as both a reactive and proactive method to diagnose if a network has been compromised. Axiomtek has been offering a range of network appliance platforms suitable for broad application compatibility and software consistency from the data center to the edge.
Unified Threat Management
The Unified Threat Management (UTM) was designed to integrate virus spam, IDS/IPS, content filtering, firewall and VPN mechanisms into one system. As security threats continue to grow, customers have aspired to invest in solutions to help safeguard their systems and data in more complex environments. Axiomtek's network appliance platforms have been supporting Intel® DPDK to improve packet processing performance by up to ten times, truly fulfilling the requirements of performance-intensive network security applications.
